Respite Services

A chance for parents and caregivers to get some time away.

Evolving Youth Care offers respite services to children and adolescents. Services can be referred by community organizations or by parents seeking out support to deal with children with special needs. Respite is quite simply an opportunity for parents and caregivers to receive a break, and to rest and rejuvenate from the daily demands related to caregiving.

EYC can provide support to parents and caregivers for their preschool, school aged and/or adolescents. EYC specializes in providing services to youth suffering from symptoms related to ADD/ADHD, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, mental health issues, disruptive behaviour, family dynamics, and educational struggles. Respite is provided by trained staff, who specialize in crisis interventions, trauma sensitive approaches and Collaborative Problem Solving, a method which empowers youth to make positive decisions.
